If you have set up your free Private GN profile in the General Number app, when someone asks you for a business card, here's a great script!
Other: Do you have a business card?
You: Actually, all my information's already on your phone!
Other: Cool, where? How?
(Click SHARE MY PRIVATE GN and an 8 digit number is generated.)
You: Go to GeneralNumber.com and enter this 8 digit number and hit submit.
Other: Oh, wow! Here's all your information!
You: Yes, now, click Download and save me to your phone! You should get the free General Number app too so you too can share you information with others!
Other: Do you have a business card?
Me: Actually, all my information's already on your phone!
Other: How? Where?
Me: Let me text it to you...
Other: Oh, wow! That's cool!
Me: I know! Now save my contact card! Scroll to the bottom and click 'Download' and my info is added directly in your phone's contact list without you having to input or scan.
Me: If you think that's cool, you can download the free General Number app, edit your Private GN profile and start sharing your information with others right away! Once you set it up once, it just takes a few seconds to share exactly what you want with who you want.

When I meet someone new and they want my contact info, I start with telling them, "Actually, my all my info can be in your phone instantly without you having to input or scan anything." The reaction is always along the lines of, "How?" In which I explain, "Here, let me text it to you... you see all my info. Now, scroll to the bottom and Download right into your smartphone's contact list!" I follow it up with, "if you think this is cool, you should download the Free General Number mobile app and set up your own free Private GN Profile and start sharing information with others right away!"
New Updates to the Free App: The ability to create voice memos, text memos, tags, sort by date created/modified, etc. They can share specific fields from their Private GN profile by sharing their randomly generated GN with the other party.

After several events where early adopters had GN name badges, others have asked where they too could buy one for themselves. Simply enter GN: 917917 or NBDGraphics into www.generalnumber.com. They are offering these amazing badges at a discounted price of $13.00 per badge. If you like the format we use, just give your GN number and word to Kevin and he'll edit the graphics for you, otherwise, send him what you need.
Testing out GN badges... so, here's what we found out...
1. By having a GN with just the GN Vanity Word, not as many people asked about the GN because it looked like a regular logo.
2. By having a GN with just the GN Number, people asked what the number meant, but it was harder to remember the number for future reference as well as if they wanted to refer business.
3. By having both the GN Number and Vanity Word, people asked about the number but remembered the word.
Either way, the number on a badge or email signature is what seems to draw people to it. People who see it intuitively sense that there's more to the number than meets the eye and they are right! When someone enters the GN word or number intowww.generalnumber.com, or clicks on the icon, not only is all the business essential info available in interactive links, but social media links, and promotions are also available. And, the best part is, someone can EXPORT all your information directly into their phones instantly, without having to input manually, or scan business cards.
I'd like to share a story about Brandon. Brandon's getting married. He was tasked by his fiancee with getting the addresses of their friends and family for Save the Date cards. He downloaded the General Number Mobile App to his phone, inputted his personal information in his Private GN profile. He asked his friends to do the same and they were able to quickly exchange contact info. With GN, it was automatically exported into a .vcf file that he could simply print labels. He was able to get their updated info downloaded directly into Outlook. He didn't have to manually enter their info.
Kudos for Brandon thinking of such a creative way to use GN!
